I don't know if you can necessarily put those movies in the same category...
The Dark Knight was deep and thought-provoking.
Iron Man and Iron Man 2 were just plain fun.

I didn't like The Dark Knight that much.......:/
as for superhero movie, does it have to be marvel? or anything about heroes? if it's the latter than I thought 300 was definitely one of my favourites for sure.

I don't remember... Does Leonidas shoot lasers from his eyes? Or is his superpower kicking Persian butt?

The Dark Knight by far is the best comic book movie ever made. Most of Marvel's stuff doesn't usually compare. Not saying they haven't had a good run in movies, but in comparison, DC does typically have movies in quality while Marvel has them in quantity. Albeit DC has had a few bombs (ex: Steel, Jonah Hex).

People focus so much on the Dark Knight, I think that Batman Begins is often looked over. Honestly, seeing Bruce Wayne go through ninja training made Batman's character so much more believable than some just some playboy who fights crime.
Really looking forward to the Thor movie!!

True, but based on the current comic storylines they're running with, it's very applicable. In Batman's first year back, he never dealt with any criminals, just the mob, but who wants to see a Batman movie w/o villains? That was the idea of using Scarecrow and Ra's. Dark Knight focuses on the next two major stories, one involving Joker's first appearance, the other involving his, Dent's, and Gordon's pact to take down the mob, along w/ Dent's transformation into Two-Face.

I've heard they're working on a sequel to the Dark Knight. Should be good if the directors just keep their heads on. What I enjoyed about these last two Batman movies was the darkness of the movie. They removed the sequins and removed the cheesy characters from the previous movies. It was far more believable than the previous movies. Though I have to admit Tim Burton's Batman movies were great.
Another good semi-superhero movie to see is "The Crow" with Brandon Lee. If you haven't seen this, go watch it right now.

The third Bat movie needs to have THE REAL BANE! His portrayal in Batman and Robin is completely different from the comics (aside from the whole pump up get strong thing). He's Batman's match both physically and mentally. He was Batman's answer to Superman's encounter with Doomsday.

I don't remember Bane... Must not have seen that particular Batman movie. All the ones after Batman Returns but before Begins really turned me off the series. It was too flashy, way too many sequins, and really cheesy acting.

He was in Batman and Robin. He was Poison Ivy's stupid henchman.
